About Us

Where you would work

Six parts of the business

All four service lines hire, and people move between them.

Field crews

Dredging, dewatering, tank cleaning, carbon change-outs and emergency response, on client sites across the country.

What you would own

The work that most directly keeps plants in compliance and communities safe.

Laboratory

Treatability studies, jar testing, microbiological profiling and chemical fingerprinting.

What you would own

Every treatment recommendation the company makes starts with your bench work.

Fabrication shop

Welding, fitting, assembly and commissioning of DAF units, clarifiers, skids and dewatering boxes.

What you would own

Equipment that goes out with your name on it and comes back for you to improve.

Inside the shop

Engineering & process

System sizing, isotherm modeling, commissioning and on-site optimization.

What you would own

You stay on the panel until the data says it is right — that is the job, not a bonus.

Environmental compliance

RCRA-certified technician and compliance manager roles, often embedded on a client site.

What you would own

Tracking every drum, authoring every manifest and safeguarding every audit file.

Safety & compliance

Office & commercial

Project coordination, logistics, procurement, estimating and account management.

What you would own

The scheduling and sourcing that decides whether the crew can do their job.

The work itself

Nobody here is a number on a schedule

Crews come back to the same plants and know how they run. That continuity is why Spectrum can troubleshoot a system quickly — and it is also why the job is more interesting than the same shift repeated. You will learn a plant, not just a procedure.

Meet the leadership

Nothing listed that fits?

Send us your background anyway

Roles open across the three yards through the year, and Spectrum hires for work ethic and problem solving as much as for a job description. Tell the recruiting team the kind of work you are looking for and what you have done so far. A person reads it, and you will hear back.

FAQs

Do I need water treatment experience to apply?

Not for every role. Spectrum runs on-the-job training and hires for work ethic, problem solving, character and competency — which is how the leadership team describes what they look for. Field, shop and office roles all take people who are new to the industry.

How much travel is involved?

It depends entirely on the role. Field crews travel nationwide with generous per diem; shop, lab and office roles are based at a yard. Vehicle allowances are available for qualifying positions.

Where are the roles based?

The three yards are Geismar, LA; Lake Charles, LA; and Houston, TX (Galena Park). Field roles mobilize from those yards to client sites across the country.

How do I apply?

Through the posting itself — every opening listed on this page links to its Indeed listing, which carries the full description and the application. If nothing listed fits, email the recruiting team at recruiting@spectrumwater.com with the kind of work you are looking for and what you have done. A person reads it.
