Our History
Spectrum Water Technology was founded in the late 1980s. Over more than 30 years, our business has diversified through rapid growth in response to our clients’ needs. Today, we operate with business units that include wastewater troubleshooting, wastewater products, dewatering equipment, mobile wastewater systems, products for beneficial reuse, and the buildout of specialty equipment related to the industrial and wastewater segments.
In 2024, Spectrum acquired AFCO360, combining two people-first teams into a single platform with deeper field expertise, broader equipment and carbon capabilities, and faster mobilization across the Gulf Coast and beyond. The acquisition strengthened our end-to-end offering—lab testing, chemistry, carbon capture and reactivation, centralized treatment, and build-to-spec equipment—so clients get one accountable partner from profile to proof.
In 2025, we unified under the refreshed Spectrum brand, reaffirming our W.A.T.E.R. values and our promise of Technology with a Human Touch. The result is a simpler experience (one contract, one team), stronger compliance (cleaner audits, fewer excursions), and better performance (lower total cost, shorter outages)—delivered by the same experts our customers already trust.
