Coagulants are used to neutralize the negative electrical charge on particles, which destabilizes the forces keeping colloids apart. Coagulants are comprised of positively charged molecules. When added to water and wastewater and then mixed, we accomplish charge neutralization. Spectrum utilizes inorganic, organic and combinations of them in treating raw water, wastewater, and sludge for dewatering.
